My grandson likes the pictures and likes pointing out the animals. The story is good for children, and he should appreciate the nightmare that is 2020 when he gets older. If I had a kids book in 1974 about Watergate, that would be a hoot.

I LOVE this book! It perfectly explains current events in a clear and precise way threw the pictures, characters and the storyline. It a wonderful book that gives strength to the notion that LOVE concurs HATE. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great kids book About current events that will teach kids to love all. Bought for my 4 month old so he can learn about the Time Of history he was born into.

I bought 3 Orangey-Tan books: one for a toddler, one for my teen, and one for a friend. This book — with its colorful pictures, invaluable message, and hysterical underlying adult humor was perfect for all three! And at a “hugely” difficult time in U.S. history, I needed both the laugh and the message.

Loved this book! Very creative and arrived on election day, perfect! Took it to work and showed all my coworkers. I bought this book for my husband and we both got a good laugh out of it. Congrats Sue on an entertainingly written book with a wholesome moral we should all live by.

This book is brilliantly written in such a way that children can understand the madness in this country, but empowers them to speak up and make a change! My daughter’s came on Election Day, and I ordered a second one for another kid because her dad was so impressed with it!

I bought this book for my 6 year old daughter. It is a fun, clever, book with a great message of inclusion and equality. There are lots of word choices and references that will amuse the parent reading, but even my 6 year old could see the parallels with what she is hearing and seeing in today's reality. The personalization helps children to really empathize and to consider what kind of actions they can take to affect change in the world.

It was awesome being able to give her a wonderful story where she was a key character. What a wonderful way to give children a perspective on this crazy world in a way that they can understand.

My child loved this story. It provided a much-needed escape from the nightmare that has been our country for almost the past four years. Placing my child as the star of the story helped build confidence and hope for a reprieve from the hate showed by our current president and his followers.

I got this book for my 9 year old son who is very socially conscious and has some strong feelings about the current administration. I loved how things were broken down easily and he loved that he was the hero who was involved in the solution.

My daughter loved it! Nothing like a bit of humor to explain the dire circumstances of our current status.

My son is almost 12 and has been following this election/the current political drama. He was thrilled to read this book, and said it’s some thing he hopes he can give to his own child someday. We both think it is a perfect way to teach children about social justice, equality and kindness in a way they can understand.
